Here’s a really cool hide, which sadly is no more – it was against guidelines about fastening caches to trees and also somehow got muggled often (I suspect a nosy neighbour).

This was GC36N4B Sticking Out Like A Sore Thumb – a cache that basically was a bark-covered film canister with a magnet that attached to a nail with a large head driven into the tree. You see now why it was against guidelines. Nevertheless, it was a popular cache, earning 129 favourite points including mine. Thanks to The Go! Team for this amazing, if not permissible hide.
