Here’s a cache I found a few years ago and mentioned in my first “cool caches” compilation post way back when. It’s still there and in reasonable shape too!
This is a clever and fairly rare hide type – I have only ever found two of these. It’s a short length of rebar with a nano on the end, cut so that when the assembled cache is placed in the parking barrier’s rebar hole, the rebar sticking out the top looks it belongs there.
As I mentioned, I had already found this one before I shot this little clip, but a good suggestion if you suspect a cache might be one of these is to bring a magnetic ToTT, like the me0ws SuperToTT 5,000,000! The fake rebar/real cache will just pop right out and you won’t have to bend over multiple times.
