We’ve given some thought over the last few months to which of the blog articles that were lost in our database failure we could “restore” by rewriting them, and we have come up with three so far:
- Debugging the negative longitude issue in the Android ANT+ geocaching app – this had for a while put the final for our cache “Bird is the Word” in China (lmao) and we ended up reverse engineering the app in source code to find the undocumented workaround the authors provided
- Our list of tips for surviving a long caching streak when you have a job and kids and a m-ggle life to live.
- Our one and only encounter with a Moving Cache before the type was degrandfathered and banned. We still have photos and our found log, and not-so-fresh memories of the midnight run to grab the cache and bring it home, so we could rewrite this one but it definitely wouldn’t be quite the same.
Coming (back) soon!
